2025On April 21, the China National Intellectual Property Administration announced the first batch of 2025’s outstanding patent conversion and application cases, with Rizhao Steel Holding Group Co., Ltd.’s submission titled “Multi-Path Promotion of Patent Conversion and Application to Build a Green, Low-Carbon ESP Specialty Sheet Manufacturing Base” successfully selected. This achievement distinguishes the company as one of only 20 nationally exemplary cases with demonstration value in 2025, and the sole representative from Shandong Province as well as the only case selected in China’s steel industry.
Rizhao Steel has advanced patent industrialization through multi-dimensional, government-enterprise collaborative initiatives, including industry-university-research partnerships, the establishment of industry patent pools, the integration of patents and standards, and the creation of a dedicated patent conversion platform. Aligned with national industrial policies and the development of new quality productive forces, the company has focused on refining ESP product technologies and processes, driving the conversion of patents for hot-rolled substitution for cold-rolled products and high-strength lightweight solutions.
